@user DevGru: It's just Android, because it's brand's name. Now go away with your lame corrections.

Android is an OS, not a brand.

Okay, what is the point? If you are going to game, do it on a console ( for instance, the Gameboy Advanced ) or do it on a PC. Your cellphone ( don't bug me here, I don't care that you call it a smartphone ) is not meant to be used for gaming. Plain and simple.

My notion of gaming is that it`s a repast. As such, I prefer to dedicate a stretch of several hours to a game at one go, rather then play little by little.

Now, I could sort of understand simple games like tetris and arcanoid on the phones - in some situations, where you just have to wait, they can be handy (Though I personally tend to read rather then play in that case.)

But GTA on the phone? That makes me wonder. Why would anyone want that? It can`t be just saved at any spot, and it has a progression - making it necessary for player to either dedicate time to their phone, or experience frustration of having to redo things time and time again because they fell just short of savepoint when it was time to get off the bus or whatever.

Second, it would tax the batteries of phone real good. Meaning, that phone would have to be charged again after a hour or two of use in such a mode. That`s pretty lousy kind of deal, if you ask me. I`d rather my phone have some charge so I could, y`know, call people or be called by people when necessary.

___

To sum this up - GTA just don`t seem like a good game to be ported to the phone. It requires some time and dedication to play, like any game with a semblance of story - and affording that much on the phone completely negates the point of having game on the phone. If you have a few solid hours to dedicate to a game, for crying out loud, don`t rape your eyes with that tiny screen and play on computer or console.

Wrong, They added a neat feature to resume the game wherever you left it. Except missions

As far as I remember GTA, 90% of time you`re doing one mission or another, given there`s simply not that much to do otherwise.

I`ve tried to explore the city at first, but it`s rather small-ish and can be memorized in under an hour quite easily.

Tried using cheat codes or mods? I've always liked messing around in GTA by giving all civilians weapons or by getting everybody to attack you.

Then fail at killing them, and screwing up your save file. Retry, and it's mission grinding again.

I don't like Gta neither.

Only if you save your game while having the cheat codes active (and you'd probably deserve it for cheating anyway)

Groovy.

Giving civilians weapons and/or making them all attack you via mods does amend GTA to be quite more like Postal 2 in gameplay, methinks.
