Is it...I guess acceptable is the best word...to mod CS2D? Has it been done before? Apart from custom maps I've not seen anything like that available for the game. I just wondered if mods would be warmly received or dismissed and flamed. I'm not even sure if it can be modded.

CS2D is very easy to mod because it is programmed using Blitz3D and has an open source. There have been many mods made for cs2d: Hidden 2d, UT2D, Futura, to name a few. Feel free to mod the game to your liking.

OK, cool. Thanks for that. How would it be done? I'm used to modding Soldat, where it's just a case of replacing the gfx/sfx files with the modded versions, and you can use any image editing program to do it. Would I have to use Blitz3D to mod CS2D?

Hi!
I'm the modder of UT2D, TheRealSephiroth.
You have to use Blitz3D to edit the source code of CS2D. For the Images you can just use your favourite program(gimp, photoshop, etc).
