I've always loved using an AK-47 to take down my opponents, but something weird is going on with the game. It first started when I was on the construction prizes server, my AK started stalling when I aimed it at an enemy. I couldn't get 1 kill because my gun stalls when aim over an enemy, however, snipers and handguns work fine. Soon, I was on another server and it started to do the same thing and then it started doing it for every server, except in offline matches with bots.

I've tried re-installing it, and no luck. I've also tried using the ZIP instead of an installation and again, no luck.

Can someone help me with this? I dont wanna have to use the awp or scout all the time, especially on servers where its not allowed.

Hm... because you are reloading maybe? :S
@Zirt, the only know lag problem closer to this is shooting the enemy (with blood aswell) and he doesn't loses HP.
This never happened to me before...

No...This hasn't happened until about 2 weeks ago. I didn't post about it earlier because I though I could deal with it, but now it's just freaking annoying to hopelessly try and kill someone who has an m4a1 with an awp. About that latency thing, I don't experience any lag in the servers, and my internet connection is pretty stable. I'm not sure if it's a virus either, because I run all kinds of scans everyday, and so far, only found lame-ass tracking cookies.

And I'm pretty damn sure it's not because I forget to reload, this happens on a full-clip.

It is more likely to be a problem with CS2D's packets. CS2D itself or just plain up a problem with your mouse. For instance, my mouse on my work PC is wireless and because I usually play CS2D on that PC, I have constant issues with it not accepting my clicks. It could also be CS2D not picking up the mouse clicks but that is highly unlikely AFAIK. Then, it could be packet loss. Remember that CS2D has to send an 'attack' packet to the server every time you click, and becasue it uses IP/UDP packet loss is common ( also, UDP doesn't always arrive in the same order it was sent ).

Other than that, I cannot explain it. I too have these problems but I have learnt to deal with them ( considering I haven't played a proper CS2D match in ages, I guess I don't even have the problems anymore )

Does the gun shoot on your screen or not?
If the gun stalls on your screen it means there's something wrong client sided. If the gun shoots on your screen but the bullets don't kill your enemy it's a server sided problem.

the weapon fire fx (sound and graphics) is local. so even with a ping of 1 mio seconds you would see your gun firing bullets without any delay (they just wouldn't cause any damage).

I have no explanation for that problem especially because you are saying that it works well with all other weapons.

the ak is not different in any way. it is handled (in the code) like all other weapons. so this problem doesn't make any sense?! no idea.

user Twisted has written
There might be a problem with your mouse, try using another one for a bit. See if it fixes it.

Mouse doesn't fix everything. It will not have any sense to do it.

it must be his mouse. Maybe single klicks work fine but holding down the mouse button causes the stalling that he described. It's the only explanation I can come up with.
