old In-game files downloading

Yo I have a problem with downloading files in game like tiles, sprites, sounds etc.

When I download about 200 kb, it downloads 4 kb, about 15 seconds of wating till next 4 kb and that's really annoying. Any ideas how to solve it?

I sometimes have such a problem too, but only when i try joining a server with a high ping. So I think it's just caused by a slow connection.
