If you are making something public, I prefer to make own cars. Indeed, some authors put creative commons and copyright on their work. Be aware, and beware! 
I think you have to create your own graphics, your own cars. 
it shouldn't be too hard, just draw some lines in paint and color it

no its not hard if you want pictures on 2D just google it
like cars on 2d
Cars 2d ........and like this Yea but the quality is poor on most of those, some are saved in jpg formats. I'd recommend making your own cars.
