the editor is that easy, you don't need a tutorial. just try out, test what happens if you add something, learning by doing is the best

Okay, that reassures me at least.

Anyway, is it possible to destroy a trigger by using another trigger.

Like if you stepped on a specific floor, the hurt trigger will stop?

yes. just trigger the env_hurt.
most entites can be disabled and enabled by simply triggering them.
